William Gomis walked away with the victory Saturday in front of his home country crowd, though many viewers disagreed with the decision. He winged punches with massive heat behind them as Gomis largely tried to avoid the blows. Brito nearly pulled off a successful guillotine choke but the end-of-first-round bell blocked it. Brito continued his aggression in the second with his cardio holding up well.
