LAS VEGAS – Alexa Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko inched closer to their UFC 306 trilogy bout Friday when they made weight for the historic contest. In what will be the first women’s trilogy to ever be completed under the UFC banner, Grasso (16-3-1 MMA, 8-3-1 UFC) will put the women’s flyweight title on the line against rival Shevchenko (23-4-1 MMA, 12-3-1 UFC) in the co-main event of Saturday’s card at Sphere ( ESPN+ pay-per-view, ESPNews, ESPN+).
