LAS VEGAS – The main event of UFC 300 is officially locked in after Alex Pereira and Jamahal Hill made weight for their light heavyweight title bout Friday. After a busy week, Pereira and Hill did the most important pre-fight element of their jobs by stepping on the scale at official weigh-ins and hitting the contracted limit to have the UFC 300 headliner move forward as planned. Pereira, the current light heavyweight champion and former middleweight champion, tipped the scale at 205 pounds as he attempts to secure a UFC title defense for the first time. Hill, who was forced to relinquish the belt in 2023 after suffering a ruptured Achilles, registered at 205 pounds as he looks to reclaim the gold.
