LAS VEGAS – Jared Gordon is frustrated by how things have turned out for him lately, but he’s ready to compete again. Gordon (19-6 MMA, 7-5 UFC) was on the wrong end of a decision loss to Paddy Pimblett last December at UFC 282 – a fight that he and many others believed should’ve gone the other way. He was then booked to face Bobby Green at UFC Fight Night 222 this past April, but the fight was ruled a no contest due to an accidental clash of heads. Then just one month after his no contest against Green, Gordon was set to replace Ludovit Klein against Jim Miller at UFC on ESPN 45. But during media day , Gordon revealed that he suffered what he described as “a mild concussion” against Green, resulting in him getting pulled from the fight. The 34-year-old said he’s had some “dark days” dealing with the unfortunate circumstances.
