VANCOUVER, British Columbia – Charles Oliveira and Beneil Dariush are one sleep away from a high-stakes lightweight co-main event at UFC 289 following their final faceoff at ceremonial weigh-ins. After making weight on Friday morning, Oliveira (33-9 MMA, 21-9 UFC) and Dariush (22-4-1 MMA, 16-4-1 UFC) crossed paths one last time before they meet in the octagon in a potential title eliminator on pay-per-view Saturday at Rogers Arena. Prelims air on ESPN and ESPN+. Oliveira will try to rebound from dropping the 155-pound belt against Islam Makhachev in October, while Dariush attempts to extend his winning streak to nine fights and secure his first title opportunity
