COCONUT CREEK, Fla. – Augusto Sakai thought he was going to stay a UFC fighter. Despite picking up a win in the final fight of his UFC contract and serving as the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 220 in February, the Brazilian heavyweight did not receive a new deal from the UFC. The news caught Sakai (16-5-1 MMA, 5-4 UFC) off guard, as he thought he’d secured his placement in the promotion
