The UFC welterweight division could soon host a significant matchup with Jorge Masvidal and Gilbert Burns . After Burns (20-5 MMA, 13-5 UFC) told MMA Junkie in August that he was seeking a fight with Masvidal (35-16 MMA, 12-9 UFC) and the UFC was on board, things have progressed slowly. Masvidal has been occupied with his legal situation, while Burns has been chomping at the bit to step back in the octagon.
