LAS VEGAS – Norma Dumont thinks she should be next in line for the women’s featherweight title. Dumont (8-2 MMA, 4-2 UFC) defeated Danyelle Wolf (1-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) at UFC 279 on Saturday with a dominant unanimous decision win over the three-time U.S. national champion boxer at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The Brazilian showed off her hands and grappling against Wolf and is ready to challenge UFC dual champion Amanda Nunes for her featherweight title. “I’m here to fight. If the UFC doesn’t want to give me a title shot now, let us work,” Dumont told MMA Junkie and other reporters though an interpreter at the post-fight news conference.
