UFC on ABC marked Jack Shore ’s first-career setback. After a 5-0 start to his UFC career, the formerly unbeaten Shore (16-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) was submitted by Ricky Simon (20-3 MMA, 8-2 UFC) this past Saturday at UBS Arena on Long Island. It was a tough pill to swallow for the 27-year-old Welshman, who was looking to continue his ascent up the bantamweight ladder. Shore took to Instagram on Sunday to open up on his loss.
