LAS VEGAS – Alan Baudot has no doubt Ciryl Gane will only get better after his recent title loss. Gane (10-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC), a good friend and main training partner of Baudot’s at MMA Factory Paris, lost a back-and-forth decision to heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou at UFC 270, enduring the first loss of his career. “I know Ciryl is strong. He’s a very good fighter and a very good guy,” Baudot told MMA Junkie at Wednesday’s UFC Fight Night 201 media day. “He’s like my brother, and I know he’ll come back stronger for the next fight.” But the focus this week is on Baudot (8-2 MMA, 0-0-1 UFC), who will look to notch his first octagon win when he meets Parker Porter (12-6 MMA, 2-1 UFC) on Saturday.
