Luis Pena will return to action this year. Pena (9-3), who was released by the UFC in wake of his arrest on misdemeanor charges of domestic violence and simple battery, has been booked for his first post-octagon bout. The 28-year-old took to Instagram to reveal that he has signed a bout agreement, hinting that he will be competing in Russia. “And like that we’re back, almost a year to the day of my last fight, I will make my return to competition and fight outside of America for the first time in my career as well. The opponent has been found, the contract has been signed, and the date is set huge thank you @rogerdkrahl and @alexdavismma for helping make this happen. #fromrussiawithlove” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Luis Antonio Peña (@violentbobross) In June, Pena was arrested in Coral Springs, Fla., on felony charges alleging robbery by sudden snatching, battery and criminal mischief and was held in custody at the Broward County (Fla.)
