MIAMI – Ray Borg showed he can dig deep and pull off a win when a fight isn’t going his way against Cody Gibson at Eagle FC 44. That’s a sign of an elite fighter, and Borg (15-5) thinks he’s still on that level after overcoming a tough first round to dominate Gibson (18-8) for a unanimous decision win on Friday. There were many questions around Borg after his messy UFC stint came to an end following his final octagon appearance in May 2020.
