The opponent pool seems plentiful as Conor McGregor continues to work toward a comeback to competition. Like for much of his UFC tenure, McGregor (22-6 MMA, 10-4 UFC) has a target on his back – or at least it seems that way with the number of fighters who namedrop him on a regular basis. Monday, McGregor made it a little clearer who we’d like to fight next when he revealed he plans to compete against the lightweight titleholder upon his return. He also reiterated “the trilogy unfinished,” likely referring to his lifetime series against rival Dustin Poirier, who holds two wins against McGregor
