Daniel Rodriguez finally got a number next to his name and he’s looking to climb the rankings. After beating former title challenger Kevin Lee on short notice at UFC on ESPN 30 in August, Rodriguez (16-2 MMA, 6-1 UFC) debuted in the UFC’s welterweight rankings at No. 15. Rodriguez, who’s already competed three times in 2021, wants to keep the ball rolling and would love a crack at one of the most consistent fighters in the division, top ten-ranked Belal Muhammad (19-3 MMA, 10-3 UFC). “I think Belal Muhammad at No. 9 (is who I want next),” Rodriguez told TMZ .
