LAS VEGAS – Brandon Royval will be looking to rebound from injury at UFC on ESPN 29 . Royval will take on Alexandre Pantoja in the first fight since falling to current flyweight champion Brandon Moreno in November at UFC 255. It was a fight that ended early due to a shoulder injury, which has sidelined him since. Although his doctor questioned if he was ready to return to action against a tough opponent like Pantoja, Royval insisted he’s up for the challenge and believes he knows how to handle a fighter with his style. “His mentality and everything he does is built to finish somebody,” Royval told MMA Junkie during media day at the UFC Apex. “One, I respect that and I like that a lot about him.
