Dustin Poirier continues to do good in his community through his charity, The Good Fight Foundation. Poirier (28-6 MMA, 20-5 UFC), a former interim UFC lightweight champion and top-ranked contender, has spent the past several years using his platform for good, especially in his hometown of Lafayette, La. “The Diamond” went the extra mile again over the past week when he helped give away 1,000 backpacks filled with school supplies to children at Lafayette Parish before they return to classrooms for the upcoming year. There was no time wasted on Thursday, as all 1,000 bags were claimed in a less than two-hour window.
