UNCASVILLE, Conn. – It wasn’t easy, but Daniel Weichel broke out of his slump and handed Keoni Diggs the first loss of his pro career. Weichel (41-12 MMA, 10-4 BMMA), a longtime featherweight contender, took a split decision from Diggs (9-1 MMA, 2-1 BMMA) on the Bellator 261 main card Friday. Weichel had been in a 1-3 skid that started when he dropped a split call to featherweight champion Patricio Freire in a title challenge in July 2018.
