Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship on Thursday announced it is starting a pension plan for fighters who compete under its banner. And while specifics of the plan were not announced by the promotion, if it’s up and running, it will be at the very least reasonably unique in the combat sports space. “Our fighters are the most important asset of the company,” BKFC president Dave Feldman stated. “We want to ensure that they are compensated not only on the night of the fight, but also looked after in retirement. For each BKFC fight, money will be placed in a pension account for them to draw on upon retirement
