To the surprise of absolutely no one, Amanda Nunes made it look easy against Megan Anderson at UFC 259. Nunes, the reigning women’s featherweight and bantamweight champion, ran through Anderson on the feet before submitting her with an armbar just 2:03 into the first to successfully defend her 145-pound title for the second time. Here’s the thing about Nunes defeating Anderson: Nunes also already beat Felicia Spencer, who has an upcoming 145-pound fight with former boxing champ Danyelle Wolf who, at 37, will be competing in just her second MMA fight. Even if Wolf won, it hardly would be ideal or fair to match her with Nunes, the consensus female MMA GOAT. Aside from those four names mentioned, there’s nobody else in the division (if you can call it that) – unless bantamweights start moving up
