It appears Conor McGregor will have to wait until 2021 to get a UFC fight. UFC president Dana White told ESPN, the promotion’s broadcast partner, that he won’t give McGregor a 2020 date as desired for a potential rematch with Dustin Poirier. Instead, the UFC has offered McGregor a Jan. 23 date for a return to the octagon, and it’s a take-it-or-leave-it situation. “We offered him a fight. We got him his own date,” White said Wednesday
