Summer Tapasa’s viral moment has led her to a new career. The former Best Buy employee went viral in December 2019 after security cameras showed her taking down an alleged thief from walking out of the store without paying for a product at a Best Buy in Waimulu, Hawaii. Tapasa was fired from her job, allegedly as a result of the incident. In January, not long after the video went public, UFC president Dana White brought Tapasa to Las Vegas as a VIP guest for the UFC 246 pay-per-view headlined by Conor McGregor vs. Donald Cerrone.
