LAS VEGAS – Maurice Greene isn’t opposed to fighting Tanner Boser – but on what he considers the correct timeline. At the UFC on ESPN 12 post-fight press conference held Saturday after his third-round submission of Gian Villante, Greene (9-4 MMA, 4-2 UFC) gave his side of an alleged run-in at the fight week hotel pool. Boser (18-6-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) had referenced the incident in his post-fight interview, following his knockout of Philipe Lins. He claimed Greene was drinking beers poolside when the two exchanged words. For that, Boser challenged Greene to a fight on “Fight Island.” Greene said the back-and-forth was hardly an altercation – and tacked it up to a clash of personalities.
