Gustavo Lopez would one day like to see Merab Dvalishvili across the octagon again, but this time under different circumstances. The former Combate Americas bantamweight champion made his UFC debut at UFC on ESPN 10. Lopez (11-5 MMA, 0-1 UFC) wasn’t originally supposed to be on the card, but after Ray Borg was forced to withdraw from the event, the 30-year-old got the call to step up as a replacement opponent just two days out. Lopez met Dvalishvili at 140-pound catchweight and lost in a convincing unanimous decision
