UFC Fight Night 247 took place Saturday at the UFC Apex and broke a few fighters into the USA TODAY Sports/MMA Junkie rankings. In the main event, Carlos Prates smoked Neil Magny with a big knockout punch in the first round that moved him to 4-0 on the year. Additionally, former ONE Championship champion Reinier de Ridder made his UFC debut successfully when he submitted grappling wizard Gerald Meerschaert with a rear-naked choke. Those wins crack Prates and de Ridder into the honorable mentions in their respective decisions. Also, Gillian Robertson breaks out of the honorable mention ranks and into the numeric ones for her unanimous decision win over Luana Pinheiro
