Dana White’s Contender Series gives up and coming prospects to the opportunity to perform in front of UFC CEO Dana White and potentially earn a UFC contract.  On Tuesday, the fifth week of the eighth season took place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.   The fight card featured four fights and was headlined by a light heavyweight clash between Navajo Stirling and Phillip Latu.   A lightweight bout between Quemuel Ottoni and Kody Steele was cancelled after Ottoni withdrew from the match moments before it was to begin.
