Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal ’s rematch has a new date and a new venue. The combat sports rematch between the two former UFC stars was originally set to take place on June 1 at Kia Forum in Inglewood, Calif., but has now been shifted due to the date playing host to other events. The boxing bout will now take place on July 6 at Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., MMA Junkie confirmed following a first report from Boxing Scene . The original date of June 1 had a couple of major conflicts in the combat sports world. UFC 302 takes place on the MMA side, featuring a main event for the lightweight title between undisputed champion Islam Makhachev vs. former interim champ Dustin Poirier at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
