As Sadibou Sy planted his hand down on takedown from opponent Josh Silveira , gravity took its toll on his thumb, which bent awkwardly under the weight of his body. Sy (16-8-2) waved to referee Marc Goddard, as a confused Silveira (13-2) laid on top of him. The signal marked the end of the fight at 1:14 of Round 1.
