Makhachev (22-1 MMA, 11-1 UFC) made that very clear Monday when he responded to criticism from Chandler (23-7 MMA, 2-2 UFC) on Twitter. In an interview with MMA Fighting , Chandler knocked Makhachev’s resume. “He hasn’t really fought anybody,” Chandler said. “That’s really the truth.” It is true that Makhachev is about to fight Charles Oliveira for the vacant lightweight title at UFC 280 on the strength of a TKO victory over unranked Bobby Green after Beneil Dariush withdrew from the scheduled matchup this past February.
