JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Darian Weeks isn’t concerned with the attention that Ian Garry brings to their UFC 273 matchup. Entering his second UFC bout on the heels of a short-notice debut loss, Weeks (5-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) has plenty to prove against a highly-touted opponent. While Garry (8-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) has the hype, Weeks finds himself in a position to secure his first UFC victory while derailing the momentum of his opponent. “They want to make sure that he’s the real deal,” Weeks told MMA Junkie and other reporters at Wednesday’s media day.
