Chiasson (7-2 MMA, 5-2 UFC) The Ultimate Fighter Season 28 winner, stepped in on 10 days’ notice, replacing the injured Julia Avila to face former title challenger Raquel Pennington at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Pennington (13-8 MMA, 10-5 UFC) won the bout via submission in the second round, preventing Chiasson from stretching her win streak to three. “Not the results that we hoped for but I’m happy I got to end 2021 with another great fight,” Chiasson wrote on Instagram .
