Rory MacDonald and Gleison Tibau have contrasting approaches to their upcoming bout on Thursday. MacDonald (22-6-1) faces Tibau (34-15) in the main event of 2021 PFL 5 on Thursday at Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City, N.J. The main card airs on ESPN2 following prelims on ESPN+. While MacDonald says he will be taking his usual calculated approach, his opponent will be doing the opposite. “I try to take the emotional side out of it because I like to be relaxed, calm, and clear-headed and be able to use my vision, my mind, and everything to work for me, not just my emotions,” MacDonald explained. Tibau, on the other hand, will be looking to make it a more gritty type of fight.
