Former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman had his hopes for a light heavyweight title run temporarily derailed on Friday when he lost to Dominick Reyes in the UFC on ESPN 6 main event. Weidman (14-5 MMA, 10-5 UFC) suffered his fifth loss in his past six fights when he succumbed to a first-round TKO at the hands of Reyes (12-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC). He said prior to the fight that he felt the move up would begin a career renaissance, but it did not go his way and now more questions will be raised about his future
