BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – In the lone women’s fight of Bellator 225, Alejandra Lara put her multi-faceted abilities on full display and snapped a losing skid in the process. The 25-year-old Lara (8-3 MMA, 2-2 BMMA) defeated Taylor Turner (4-6 MMA, 1-1 BMMA) by first-round TKO in her bantamweight debut at Webster Bank Arena. In the opening minute, Lara took down her opposing foe Turner and eventually landed in the back sidemount.
