BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – In the lone women’s fight of Bellator 225, Alejandra Lara put her multi-faceted abilities on full display and snapped a losing skid in the process. The 25-year-old Lara (8-3 MMA, 2-2 BMMA) defeated Taylor Turner (4-6 MMA, 1-1 BMMA) by first-round TKO in her bantamweight debut at Webster Bank Arena. In the opening minute, Lara took down her opposing foe Turner and eventually landed in the back sidemount. The two fighters eventually rose to their feet, but Lara dragged the bout to the ground once again
