Lance Palmer wants to party like it’s 2018. The competitor nicknamed “The Party” won the inaugural PFL featherweight title last year, along with the $1 million prize that went with it. Thursday night, Palmer opened the defense of his title with a victory in his first 2019 regular-season matchup. Palmer was simply too much for upstart Alex Gilpin in the feature bout of PFL 2019, Week 2 at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y.
