Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson Kevin “ Kimbo Slice ” Ferguson and James Thompson will meet once again, this time in a headlining bout under the Bellator banner. Bellator President Scott Coker today announced on ESPN’s “SportsCenter” that Slice (6-2 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) and Thompson (20-16 MMA, 1-1 BMMA) will compete in the main event of Bellator 158, which takes place this July 16 at London’s O2 Arena. “This is probably one of the most anticipate rivalries or rematch that I can think of, and we’re going to put that fight together July 16 in London at The O2 arena,” Coker told ESPN’s Todd Grisham. Slice and Thompson first met in an infamous 2008 clash under the EliteXC banner. Thompson used a wrestling-heavy attack to wear down Slice over the opening two rounds of the contest
