More important than who he beat may have been who he did it in front of. UFC President Dana White was on hand to film an episode of his “Lookin’ for a Fight” Web series and Lopez (8-0) had a tall order to stand out at an event that featured six main card finishes. Lopez was able to stand out, however, by crushing Finn’s nose with a big elbow and driving down punches on the ground to force the tap at the 3:15 mark of Round 1. He told MMAjunkie Radio he had a chance to speak with White after the bout and seemed to have done a good job of catching the UFC boss’ eye. “Afterward, I got to speak with him for a little while,” Lopez said.
