Since his last fight in March of 2014, Bellator lightweight Brent Primus has had a series of setbacks and delays that have kept him on the shelf for over a year. “I had a little injury that kept me out for about two months, and then my manager and I had been told that I’d be fighting on the next show, and then the next show, and we kept on hearing that to where I had like five fight camps,” Primus told MMAWeekly.com. “I’m very well prepared now and ready to fight.” If there’s a silver lining to Primus’ time off, it’s that he’s had a chance to train with top fighters at the BMF Ranch and Greg Jackson’s gym. “It’s helped my confidence so much knowing I can hang with those guys,” said Primus
