Katja Kankaanpaa and Livia Renata Souza Invicta FC 12 weigh-ins took place today, and strawweight title holder Katja Kankaanpaa  (114.6) and challenger Livia Renata Souza  (113.9) each came in under the championship limit. The weigh-ins took place at the Holiday Inn Kansas City Downtown – Aladdin Hotel. The nearby Municipal Auditorium hosts Friday’s UFC Fight Pass-streamed event. Not everyone on the card was able to meet their contracted weight. Flyweight Vanessa Porto , bantamweight Raquel Pa’aluhi, featherweight Latoya Walker  and strawweight Jenny Liou  each missed weight on their first trip to the cage. Only Pa’aluhi was able to make weight on her second trip to the scale, though she was still fined 15 percent of her purse
