Filed under: News , UFC Rustam Khabilov Rustam Khabilov is one of many Russian fighters to have made a major splash in the UFC over the past few years, and that puts him in an enviable position as one of the men leading the charge of the “Russian Invasion.” For Khabilov (17-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC), the lightweight who faces Adriano Martins (26-7 MMA, 2-1 UFC) at Sunday’s UFC Fight Night 61, the expansion by the promotion into Russia seems to portend an eventual move to hold a card in the largest country in the world. “This is my dream,” Khabiolov told MMAjunkie Radio when asked if the UFC would hold an event in his native country. “I want the UFC to come to Russia because we have a lot of fighters now in the UFC.
