Tensions between the UFC and middleweight fighter Cung Le have hit a breaking point. On Wednesday’s edition of the Gross Point Blank podcast with Josh Gross , Le said he has asked his manager to request for his release from the UFC. Le explained that he no longer believes in the organization and he would prefer not to be associated with them. The decision comes following the organization rescinding their suspension of the fighter for the botched handling of a post-fight drug test that showed Le had elevated levels of human growth hormone. “I got a bad taste in my mouth with the UFC, and I worked extremely hard and I sacrificed a lot for them,” he told the podcast.
