Former World Series of Fighting title challenger Josh Burkman is making his return to the UFC. UFC president Dana White on Friday announced the signing, revealing that Burkman would make his return on Jan. 3 at UFC 182, where he will face Hector Lombard . He was one of the WSOF’s original signings, and made a run at the welterweight belt, upsetting Jon Fitch before losing to Steve Carl in a battle for the belt. Burkman faces no easy task upon his return to the Octagon.
