As expected, Manny Gamburyan  (13-8 MMA, 4-6 UFC) is making the move to the 135-pound division, and he’ll debut in the class against Cody Gibson  (12-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC) at UFC 178. The new matchup was first reported by the Glendale News-Press and subsequently confirmed by UFC officials. Featuring a light-heavyweight title fight between current champion Jon Jones and undefeated challenger Daniel Cormier, UFC 178 takes place Sept. 27 at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena. A finalist on “The Ultimate Fighter 5,” Gamburyan has competed under the Zuffa banner since 2007.
