Episode No. 9 of “The Ultimate Fighter: Team Edgar vs. Team Penn” opens with Team Edgar’s Matt Van Buren , who fights Team Penn’s Chris Fields  later in the episode, discussing how much he dislikes his opponent and his desire to display a dominant performance. Fields, on the other hand, is determined to deliver a redeeming effort. His entry into the house through the elimination round came as the result of his opponent suffering a mid-fight injury.
