SAO PAULO – Warlley Alves needed to be concerned about Marcio Alexandre Jr.’s karate attack. Problem solved. Alves (7-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) dominated Alexandre (12-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC), keeping him at bay throughout the fight and controlling the fight on the ground before ultimately getting a submission quickly into the third to become the middleweight winner of “The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil.” The “TUF: Brazil 3″ middleweight final was part of the main card of today’s TUF Brazil 3 Finale event at Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil. It aired on FOX Sports 1 following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass. Alexandre kicked high in the first 10 seconds, but Alves landed a right hand that planted him on the canvas. Alves didn’t waste any time and landed several big punches on the canvas in side control.
