UFC Fight Night 83 is one of those events that if you haven’t looked at the lineup since it was first announced in December , you’re going to wonder just what went on over the last two months. Most of what went on were injuries , but there were also failed drug tests , fighters pulled for other events , and medication issues . Through all that, the UFC matchmakers were still able to keep 13 fights on the card, which when you consider many of these issues arose in the last two weeks, is no small feat. One of those updated fights sits atop the card. In the main event, former lightweight title challenger Donald Cerrone meets Alex Oliveira in a welterweight bout while in the co-main event, Roan Carneiro meets Derek Brunson in a middleweight contest
