UFC 314 was headlined by a featherweight title bout between former champion  Alexander Volkanovski and  Diego Lopes , but a fight that garnered a lot of attention was the main card featherweight grudge match between  Bryce Mitchell and  Jean Silva .  Silva requested a fight against Mitchell after hearing Mitchell’s  controversial comments about Hitler. In the lead up to the fight, the trash talk became intense and became personal. On Saturday, they settled their differences inside the cage with Silva defeating Mitchell by submission in the third round. Following the loss, Mitchell released a statement via  Instagram . “I want to thank everybody for their support and let ya’ll know I’m doing just fine,” Mitchell said in a video post
